The King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is pleased to announce the Deanship of Graduate Studies Scholarship, a fully funded opportunity for Pakistani graduate students.   3. Academic transcripts.
  4. A 1-page statement of purpose focusing on your research goals and career objectives at KFUPM.
  5. Recommendation letters from your university professors.
  6. GMAT score (mandatory for MBA applicants).
  7. IELTS score with a minimum of 6 bands for MS applicants and 6.5 bands for PhD applicants, or TOEFL score with a minimum of 68 iBT for MS applicants and 79 iBT for PhD applicants. These scores can be uploaded as supporting documents. Additionally, the GRE General score is not mandatory.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for all graduate courses, except for the MBA program, are as follows:

  1. Minimum CGPA of 3/4 is required for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (for PhD applicants). Ph.D. students must ensure that their undergraduate and graduate degrees are equivalent to KFUPM standards.

The eligibility criteria for the MBA program are as follows:

  1. Minimum CGPA of 2.5/4 is required for the MBA program.
  2. An acceptable GMAT score of 450 or higher must be submitted.
  3. Minimum score of 6.0 bands in IELTS or 70/120 in TOEFL IBT.
  4. Three years of work experience is required.
  5. Students must have completed a course in calculus during their undergraduate degree and possess a working knowledge of computers.

Deadlines

The online portal opens every October and closes in December for the fall semester. The deadline for the spring semester is June 22, 2023.

The portal for MBA students opens in December for the fall semester and closes in February.
