Dhoni, true to his resilience, traveled from Ahmedabad to Mumbai after the final match. The BCCI medical panel member Dinshaw Pardiwala, a renowned sports orthopedic surgeon, advised him. As a surgeon who has performed surgeries on several top Indian cricketers, including Rishabh Pant, Dr. Pardiwala was entrusted with Dhoni’s case.

According to CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan, Dhoni underwent successful knee surgery at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital on Thursday. Through keyhole surgery, an arthroscopic repair was performed. According to reports, MS Dhoni is recovering well and healthy.
