‘PTI-P’: Pervez Khattak To Enter Unravel With New Political Party

Peshawar: Former PTI President KPK, Parveez Khattak. After his membership was terminated by the PTI, former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Pervez Khattak decided to launch his political party called “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians.” Sources familiar with the situation have disclosed that Khattak has already selected a flag for the new party, which is formed by gathering his former PTI colleagues, and he is expected to announce its establishment sometime this week formally.

Multiple extensive meetings have taken place in Islamabad and Peshawar, involving “important personalities,” to discuss the party’s formation. While consultations are still ongoing, Khattak has also been in contact with the PML-N, indicating potential collaborations.

According to sources, if Khattak does not join any other party, he will proceed with announcing the formation of his party. The new party has chosen a flag with green and white colors. Additionally, Khattak is actively reaching out to provincial assembly members who switched their loyalties during the Senate elections, as well as those who were not granted PTI tickets in the last election.

Previously serving as the PTI’s secretary general and chief minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa during the PTI government, Khattak resigned as the PTI KP president shortly after the events on May 9. However, earlier this week, the party terminated his membership due to his failure to respond to a “show cause notice” issued to him.
